Mick and his players join old friends and guests at Hintlesham Golf Club in latest ITFC Golf Day

24 teams lined up for the spring ITFC Golf Day challenge at Hintlesham Golf Club on Wednesday 19th March.

Golfers enjoyed breakfast whilst mingling with the manager, coaching staff, first team and ITFC legends, before stepping out onto the course for 18 holes.  There was also a ringer in the group – ex-Canary Bryan Gunn, trying hard to go unnoticed whilst sporting an impressive pair of tartan plus fours!

The team competition was closely fought, but perhaps not as fiercely contested as the ITFC Champion Golfer competition – the disappointment was evident on the face of Town’s very own Rory McIlroy (Stephen Hunt) as his impressive score of 38 was only enough for 3rd place!

Having completed their round of golf, Kevin Carpenter was on hand with his excellent Golf Trick Shot show to entertain guests before the dinner and awards presentation.
