Striker is eyeing up a return from injury before the season ends as he aims to help Town's Play-Off charge
David McGoldrick has told Ipswich Player that he isn’t ruling out a return to the Town side before the season ends.
Blues’ leading scorer picked up a knee medial ligament injury against Blackpool recently, which effectively would see him miss the remainder of the campaign.
However the striker is working hard on his rehab and pulling on a Blue shirt again this term is something he sees as a challenge.
“People have said that I’m pretty much ruled out for the season now, but I see that as a challenge to get back before then,” Didz exclusively told Ipswich Player.
“I want to come back before the season ends and I want to play my part. I’m desperate for the boys to stay in and around those Play-Off places and that will drive me on to get back even more.
“I’ll be doing as much as I can to get back, whether that be doing double rehab sessions every day or whatever it takes, I just want to get back and help the lads out.
“They might not need me, as we’ve still got four great strikers at the Club. But I’m desperate to get back and help out with the Play-Off push.”
