We will have a great chance next season if we keep progressing says defender
Town finished ninth, four points off the Play-Offs – the joint highest final standing with 2008/09 since Jim Magilton led the Club to within a point of the top six and an eighth place finish in 2007/08.
“We were disappointed that we didn’t make the Play-Offs,” Christophe, who picked up the Supporters’ Player of the Year award for 2013/14, told the Club website.
“We’ve got to take the positives out of the season and use them though. The manager came in here and has changed things around.
“I’ve been told there was doom and gloom here a few years back but the manager has picked the whole place up.
“The fans are coming back and if we can make the same progress next season that we made this year, we will have a great chance of achieving something.”
