Busy schedule for Murph's Republic of Ireland

Daryl Murphy added to his tally of caps with his 11th appearance for the Republic of Ireland against Turkey at the weekend.

The Town striker came on as a second-half substitute for the Irish in their 2-1 defeat in Dublin.

Murph has been included in Ireland’s squad for their summer of internationals, with Martin O’Neill’s team next in action against England’s World Cup opponents Italy at Fulham’s Craven Cottage on Saturday.

The Republic then head to the United States to take on Costa Rica, who are also in England’s World Cup group in Brazil, in Philadelphia on June 6 before facing Portugal in New Jersey four days later.

Christophe Berra is also away on international duty. Town’s Supporters’ Player of the Year is with the Scotland squad for their friendly against Nigeria at Fulham on Wednesday.
