But Town have a special place in his heart says midfielder
The Wales international has returned to Crystal Palace after spending the last two months of the season on loan at Portman Road.
In that time, he established himself as a firm favourite with the Blue Army and picked up the goal of the season award for his 30 yard strike against Derby.
“I loved every minute of my time at Ipswich,” Jonny told the Club website.
“It was good to finish the season on a high against Sheffield Wednesday but it was a real shame we didn’t make the Play-Offs.
“I can’t thank the manager, Mick McCarthy, enough for giving me an opportunity and I’d like to thank everyone else at the Club for making me feel so welcome.
“It felt like I’d been at the Club ages and it was a great experience. The supporters were fantastic to me and Ipswich has a special place in my heart.
“I’m going back to Palace now and looking forward to that. My main priority is to get in the team there but who knows what will happen in the future. I don’t really know where I will be playing my football next season.”
