Christophe looking to put Play-Off disappointment behind Blues and ensure Town go into the summer break on the back of a win

Christophe Berra is looking for Town to end the season on a winning note, despite Blues missing out on a Play-Off place.

Defeat to Burnley last time out ensured Mick McCarthy’s side couldn’t cement a place in the top six, but Christophe, who was named Supporters’ Player of the Season, is still looking for Blues to finish the campaign on a high against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday (kick-off 12.15pm).

“Neither side can get promoted or relegated but we will be professional and we will be up for the game, there’s no doubt about that,”the Scotland international told the Club website.

“As soon as you cross that white line you want to win the game, no matter what and Saturday will be no different, despite us not being able to reach the Play-Offs now.

“We will go out to enjoy the game and hopefully we can get the three points for the supporters and we can go into a well deserved summer break on a winning note.”
