Clean sheet and three points delights boss as he marks two years as Town boss
Goals from David McGoldrick and Daryl Murphy gave Town the victory, with Teddy Bishop involved in both goals.
“It was a terrific performance, a solid performance,” said Blues’ boss.
“We had to withstand a bit of an onslaught at times but we did well and it was good to see the game out with a clean sheet.
“Bish did great for us. He’s a smashing lad and a real exciting talent. He set up the second goal right in front of our fans which was great that they got a good view of it. Once he gets going he is difficult to stop and he’s quicker than what people might think.
“We’ve picked up a few more injuries. Bish came off with a groin strain. Cole Skuse as well and we had to pull Gerks out before the start. We will see how they are.
“We used the least number of players in October and the injuries are just down to the workload they put in.”
