Deserved win says boss with praise for goalscorer Murph and proper pro Hunty
Daryl Murphy struck twice to give Blues the points after James Henry had equalised for the visitors to lift the Club into the Play-Off places.
“It was a great game and a deserved three points for us. The players were terrific from start to finish,” Mick told the Club website.
“They were two great goals from Murph and he’s having a fantastic season.
“He’s improved his game. TC has worked with him on his finishing consistently in training and it's working and Murph is loving his time here and that helps.
“It was a good job he got the winner though because he cost Luke Hyam a fifth yellow card and he’s suspended so he owes him!
“Kevin Bru and Jay Tabb came in and did great for us and I was delighted with the ovation Hunty got as well when he went off.
“I told him yesterday I wasn’t going to start with him but he said he was okay and desperate to play. I put him in and he gave me everything. He’s a proper pro.
“Some people might have wondered why I gave him another contract in the summer. I think he has shown why in the last two games.”
