Midfielder puzzled as to why Blues couldn't repeat first-half showing and now calls for Town to make the fans happy again on Saturday

Kevin Bru believes Town’s slow start to the second-half cost Blues this evening, as Cardiff ran out 3-1 winners to end the eight game unbeaten run for Mick McCarthy’s side.

Town took the lead through a wonderful goal from Daryl Murphy- his seventh of the season- before the Bluebirds hit back through Peter Whittingham, Federico Macheda and Adam Le Fondre to ensure Blues left South Wales with nothing to show for their efforts.

“It was a good game in the first-half and we were playing well,” Kevin told the Club website.

“We scored first through Murphy but after half-time, we were not so good and I don’t know why.

“I don’t know what happened but when they scored early in the half they pushed on. It was a silly goal to let in from us.

“We tried to come back but we couldn’t score and they got another goal and killed the game.

“We now have to forget out this match and start again on Saturday. I hope we can have a better result and make the fans happy.”
