COLE: I'D FINISH MY CAREER HERE

24 October 2014

Midfielder enjoying life at Town on and off the pitch

Cole Skuse says he’d welcome the chance to see out the rest of his career at Portman Road.

The 28-year-old midfielder has been a regular in the Town side since joining the Club on a three year contract in the summer of 2013 and off the pitch, he and his family have taken to life in Suffolk easily.

Speaking in an interview in Saturday’s matchday programme, Cole says: “Ipswich is a lovely club and I couldn’t be any more settled here on and off the pitch.

“If I had the chance to finish my career at Ipswich and it was offered to me now, I’d take that no question. I believe the Club has all the ingredients to head in the right direction and I love life in Suffolk too.

“It was important to me that my family settled and they’ve done that perfectly.

“Where we live it’s an absolute dog heaven as we have lots of fields around us, so the dogs are having a ball too! Things couldn’t be better for us as a family off the pitch and on the pitch I’m really enjoying representing Ipswich Town.”

Saturday’s matchday programme also includes interviews with Conor Sammon, Kevin Bru and Jack Collison, as well as columns from skipper Luke Chambers and boss Mick McCarthy.

Don’t miss out on the latest set of FOUR FREE stickers given away with the programme as well.
