Murph and Conor in line for international action

Daryl Murphy and Conor Sammon have been named in the Republic of Ireland’s provisional squad for their internationals next month.

The Republic play Scotland in a 2016 European Championship qualifier on November 14 at Celtic Park and then face the United States in a friendly in Dublin four days later.

Daryl, who has 13 caps to his name, was forced to miss his country’s last game - the Euro qualifier against Germany with an Achilles injury.

The Republic drew 1-1 and sit second in Group D, with Scotland three points behind them in fourth.
