Blues bring in former West Ham midfielder on short-term deal after trial spell at Portman Road
Town have added to the ranks by signing Jack Collison on a free transfer, after his contract at West Ham expired in the summer.
The midfielder has penned a short-term deal at Portman Road until late December, after spending time on trial with Mick McCarthy’s squad and will be looking to break into the first-team picture.
Jack, a full Wales international, has featured in a number of U21 Development games for Town this term and will wear the number 31 for Blues.
The former Hammer made over 100 appearances during his stay at Upton Park, as well as taking in loan spells with Bournemouth and Wigan in the Championship last term.
A full interview with Jack will be available on Ipswich Player later today.
