Midfielder sets goal target as he looks to avoid end of season payout
The midfielder grabbed his first goal of the term to set Town on the way to victory at Wigan on Monday night and needs five more to reach his goal.
“We have all set ourselves a goals target,” says Luke, speaking in an interview in Saturday’s matchday programme.
“I’ve gone for six and if I can get that many, I’ll be delighted.
“We have all set a target and put £100 in for charity. The three players who are the furthest away from their target have to buy the other players a slap-up meal at the end of the season.
“Everyone has gone very ambitious with their predictions. Ando has gone for 10 I think. It will be interesting.”
Saturday’s programme also feature an in-depth interview with Jonathan Parr, who talks about his Premier League dream and disappointment, as well as revealing his international ambitions. There’s Jay Tabb on his golfing victory, Stephen Hunt on Tiger Woods, Luke Chambers reveals why he’s not looking at the League table and Mick McCarthy looks back on the win over Wigan and forward to Rotherham’s visit with a few familiar faces in their line-up.
