Injury not serious for wideman as Mick brings back one Jack and offers another one a deal
The summer signing was forced off while playing for the U21s at Charlton on Monday as he stepped up his bid for full fitness following six weeks out with a fractured jaw.
“I don’t know how long he will be out but it’s not long-term,” said Town boss Mick McCarthy.
“He’s bruised his knee but it’s improved over the last day or two and we will have more of an idea on recovery time after he’s had a scan.”
Meanwhile Jack Marriott is returning to Town after the end of his month on loan at Carlisle.
Mick has also confirmed that he has offered Wales international Jack Collison a short term deal until January. The midfielder has recently trained with Blues as he looks for a new club.
