Defender's man of the match display the highlight for Town as Mick McCarthy's return to Wolves sees Blues take a huge point in the race for a Play-Off place
Christophe Berra praised the character of his teammates, as Town claimed a huge point away at Wolves.
The defender, who spent four years at Molineux, put in a determined display against his former employers which saw him named as Sky Sports man of the match, in a game that saw Benik Afobe take a point for the hosts following Richard Stearman’s earlier own goal.
“We defended well and showed good character to take a point,” Christophe told the official Club website.
“On their day, Afobe, Dicko and Sako would cause any side problems but I thought we kept them fairly quiet and we’ve defended well today.
“As defenders we were kept busy but we dealt with everything they through at us and we almost grabbed the win on the counter through Chris Wood.
“To come to Wolves and take a point at any time is a good result but it’s even bigger at this stage of the season.
“We’ve still got a lot of work to do though because we aren’t there yet [Play-Offs] and it’s going to go right down to the wire.
“But we’ve put ourselves in a good position with two games remaining and it’s up to us to go and see the job through now.”
