Striker pens extension to his contract that sees him remain at Portman Road until 2019 with the option of a further 12 month stay
Town striker Freddie Sears has agreed an extension to his contract, which sees him remain at Portman Road until 2019.
The former Colchester man, who opened his account for the season against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, signed the new deal ahead of tonight’s clash with Burnley.
The striker has penned a four-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
Freddie, who began his career at West Ham, has established himself as a real fans favourite at Portman Road and netted nine goals for the Blues last term, after arriving in January.
A full interview with the striker will be available on Ipswich Player HD in due course.
