Winger excited to taste a league Portman Road atmosphere as the Blues welcome the Owls to Suffolk this afternoon

Larsen Toure admits he can’t wait to taste a Portman Road atmosphere as The Blues prepare for the first home game of the Championship season.

The winger, who signed a one-year deal in the summer, made his first outing for Town against Stevenage in the Capital One Cup and is now eager for more first-team action as the season gets underway.

The Blues welcome Sheffield Wednesday to Portman Road this afternoon for the first home clash of the league season, before Burnley visit Suffolk on Tuesday.

“I feel happy here already and playing in England is a big thing for me,” Larsen told the official Club website.

“I watched English football on TV and it’s special, so I’m very happy to be involved with this opportunity now.

“The stadiums are full, the atmosphere is good and you can see how much each game means to the fans over here.

“I like that passion and want to give my all every time I’m on the pitch for the Ipswich fans.”
