Ryan ready to get the season underway at Brentford this afternoon after settling in fine at Town
- Joined on a season-long loan from Bournemouth
- Can play on either wing
- Town kick-off against Brentford today
Ryan Fraser has admitted he can’t wait to get the season underway this afternoon after settling in really well at Town. The flying Scotsman joined the Blues on a season-long loan from Bournemouth in the summer and although he has only been at the Club for a couple of months, he already feels ‘part of it’ at Portman Road.
“The lads have taken to me well and I’ve settled in fine. It’s always a little difficult when you move to a new club but the lads have been superb with me. I’m round at Skusey’s a lot and Chambo’s as well, making sure we all bond away from training too.
“I’ve settled in really well but it’s been easy to do to be honest with you,” Ryan told the official matchday programme.
“That helps you feel a real part of it and I certainly do here. I’m excited for the season ahead.
“I’ve just got my flat sorted too, so I’m out of the hotel and I’m feeling settled here.”
“You can tell there’s a great environment here and that can go a long way. We had the same at Bournemouth and it certainly plays a part.
