  • Helped guide Brentford to the Championship play-offs last season.
  • Scored eight times last season – his most prolific season thus far.
  • Has been capped eight times by the Republic of Ireland, the last of those coming in 2007.
  • Has played the majority of his football in England despite being Irish.
  • Played 15 Premier League games between 2003-2005 for Blackburn Rovers; scoring once.
  • Was named Swindon Town’s Player of the Season in 2010 and Brentford’s Player of the Season in 2012.
  • Previously captained both Leeds United and Brentford.
  • Played 46 times for the Bees last season, playing the full 90 minutes in 43 of those matches.
  • Scored against the Blues at Portman Road last season in a 1-1 draw.
