Monty Patterson faces up to six months on the sidelines, after scans have revealed that he has dislocated his ankle.
The midfielder was stretchered off whilst playing for Town’s U21 side against Leeds during the week, a game which the Blues won 2-1.
The New Zealand international will undergo an operation on Monday and everyone at the Club would like to wish Monty a speedy and healthy recovery.
