Toure delighted to be a Blue as he is reunited with former Levski team-mate
The 31-year-old midfielder became friends with Kevin Bru in their time together playing for Levski Sofia in Bulgaria and they are now reunited at Portman Road, with Larsen signing a one year contract with a year option on top.
“Kevin said that the manager was looking for players so I sent him a ‘video’ of me playing and he passed it on,” Larsen, a Guinea international, told the Club website.
“The manager liked what he saw and I was asked in for a trial and now I’m delighted that I have joined Ipswich Town.
“For many years I have wanted to play in England and now I have the chance. Kevin has told me all about the Club and the town. It’s a fantastic stadium and the fans live for the football. I can see that they really support the team.
“It was hard when I first arrived here because I have not played for three months but I’m getting there with my fitness and I’m looking forward to playing for the Club.”
