And Ryan ready to play but boss warns him he may have to wait

Kevin Bru and Tommy Oar are back in the squad for Tuesday’s trip to Fulham while Mick McCarthy says Ryan Fraser is ready to play.

The winger, on loan for the season from Bournemouth, returned to Portman Road last week after six weeks out with a knee ligament injury.

He was on the bench for the win at MK Dons at the weekend and the Town boss told Ipswich Player HD that he will have to wait for his chance.

“Ryan is flying but I have spoken to him and told him that we are on a good run, the team is playing well, the players are playing well,” said Mick.

“I know we lost to Middlesbrough but we played well in that game and it was a good win at MK Dons.

“I told Ryan it will be difficult for him to get straight back in the side but we know what he can do and he is ready to play.”

Tommy has missed the last two games with a knee injury while Kevin has been out for three weeks with a hamstring injury. Both are included in the squad.
