Striker signs on the dotted line to remain with the Blues until the end of the season after recovering from serious ankle injury
Luke Varney has today penned a contract with Ipswich Town until the end of the season.
The popular frontman, who ended last term on loan at Portman Road from Blackburn, is available to make his second debut for the Club and could be involved against former side Derby at the weekend.
The striker, who can also operate out wide, suffered a serious achilles injury during the Play-Off semi-final first leg with Norwich City at Portman Road which has kept him sidelined since May.
However the former Charlton, Leeds and Crewe man has been doing his rehabilitation work at Town and, after featuring in a number of U21 fixtures, has now signed until the end of the season.
Luke will wear the number 42 during his time at Portman Road and an exclusive interview with the forward is available on Ipswich Player HD.
