SANTA'S COMING TO TOWN

18 December 2015

Festive fun for the Derby game including a free mince pie with every hot drink

Yes the big man is at Portman Road on Saturday afternoon to bring some festive joy to the Blue Army.

Santa will be walking around Portman Road before the game and at half-time to send his festive best wishes to all.

Supporters can also get a free mince pie with every hot drink purchased at the bars around the ground until the 1200 Santa has brought along have gone.

On the fieldturf, there will be bouncy castles for the younger members of the Blue Army, while the Felixstowe Volunteer Coast Patrol Rescue Service will be displaying one of their lifesaving boats.

Formed in 1996 following the disbandment of the coastguard rescue boat based there, they are the only independently funded maritime rescue charity in Suffolk. A vital part of the emergency services, they risk their lives to save lives. Pop along and show your support.

The East of England Co-op are also providing some festive fun before the big game.

You can find them just outside the East of England Co-op stand, where they will have free festive food to sample, money-off vouchers for your next co-op shop and a chance to win a Christmas hamper worth £60.00.

They will also be handing out money off vouchers which you can use in Subway in the Co-op store on Handford Road, just a corner kick from the ground.

The Ipswich and Norwich Co-op Brass Band will also be performing on the fieldturf pre-match and on the pitch at half-time.
