BOSS CONSIDERS CHANGES

10 February 2015

Mick may freshen up side for Wednesday visit as Town look to get back on track

Mick McCarthy says he is considering making changes tonight as Town take on Sheffield Wednesday at Portman Road.

Blues go into the game six points behind Championship leaders Bournemouth and Derby - those two clubs meet tonight - and four points above seventh placed Norwich.

With Town on a run of a draw and two defeats in the last three games, Mick says freshening up his side is something he will look at.

“We may look at making changes for tonight,” writes the boss in his column in tonight’s matchday programme.

“Most of the players out there on Saturday at Rotherham have played in nearly all our games this season and freshening it up is certainly an option.

“We have players who have been on the edge of it this season and they have probably looked at the last two or three games and will be thinking that if they don’t get a chance now, when will they get one.

“Those players have been the ones who have been there to step in and they have been excellent.”

Tonight’s programme also includes an extended interview with Teddy Bishop, plus interviews with Noel Hunt, Christophe Berra, Cole Skuse and Matt Clarke. Don’t miss out on your latest set of FREE stickers either.
