Supporters are advised to use online route with 200 transactions at any one time
While the tickets will be sold in-person from the Club’s Planet Blue store on Portman Road, supporters using that route for purchase are not guaranteed a ticket simply by taking up a position in the queue.
“Our online ticketing platform, www.itfcdirect.com, can process 200 concurrent transactions at any one time,” Town’s director of retail operations, Lee Hyde, told the Club website.
“Our shop staff can physically only serve four customers at the same time and while fans logging on to the online store may well have to queue for tickets, the queues will move much quicker than the physical queues in Planet Blue.”
Supporters purchasing tickets are limited to one ticket per entitled customer number. Any supporter wishing to purchase more than one ticket in their transaction are reminded to already have their additional friends and family customer numbers linked to their online account as each ticket purchased will need to be allocated to a qualifying member.
Town fans wishing to purchase are also reminded that they should not attempt to login to the online ticketing site prior to 9am.
