Cole admits the Portman Road stalement wasn't a classic but takes the point and moves on to Rotherham next week

Cole Skuse labelled the goalless draw against Wigan as ‘frustrating’, as Town failed to find a way through in wintery conditions at Portman Road.

Neither side managed to find a way through, with Jay Tabb squandering Town’s best opportunity in the first-half, with the Blues remaining in fourth place in the Championship table.

“It was a frustrating and annoying afternoon and things just didn’t quite come off for us today,” the former Bristol City man told the Club website.

“Wigan came with a game-plan which worked to their advantage and you have to give them credit for that.

“We ultimately couldn’t break them down but it’s another point on the board and we’re still only one win off top spot.

“We’ll rest up tonight now and be ready to go again on Monday as we prepare for the trip to Rotherham.”
