Exciting winger teams up with Lee Clark's side for a month, whilst Sowunmi heads to Lowestoft on a youth loan

Alex Henshall has today joined Blackpool on a month’s loan.

The winger, who joined Town on a permanent deal from Manchester City in the summer, will team up with Lee Clark’s side ahead of their home clash with Millwall.

The 20 year-old has made four appearances for the Blues in the league and a further outing against Crawley in the Capital One Cup.

Alex has previously spent time on loan with Bristol Rovers and Chesterfield, whilst still on the books at City- a side he joined from Swindon as a teenager.

Meanwhile, Omar Sowunmi has joined Lowestoft Town on a month’s youth loan.

The first-year pro, who plays at centre-half, recently took in a similar stint at Braintree.
