DARREN EXTENDS TOWN STAY

6 January 2015

Midfielder pens deal until the end of the season whilst Veseli cancels Blues contract and Marriott heads out on loan

Darren Ambrose has signed a new contract at Ipswich Town, whilst two Blues have departed Portman Road.

The midfielder, who netted his first goal of the season in the weekend FA Cup draw with Southampton, will now remain in Suffolk until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, defender Freddie Veseli has mutually agreed to cancel his contract with the Club and is now free to join another side.

The Swiss defender, who joined the Blues on a free transfer at the beginning of last season following spells with Manchester City and Manchester United, has spent the majority of this campaign on loan at Port Vale.

Striker Jack Marriott has agreed to remain on loan at Conference side Woking until the end of the season.
