Hammond back in action and Ambrose on target as Blues share the spoils

Kyle Hammond returned to action for the first time since sustaining a knee ligament injury last season in the U21s’ clash with Cardiff this afternoon.

The defender played the last 30 minutes of the 1-1 draw at Playford Road and came through under the watchful eye on the Town coaching staff.

Kyle replaced Teddy Bishop after an hour, with Blues also including Cameron Stewart, Paddy Kenny and Darren Ambrose, who gave Town a 21st minute lead, in the side.

Arsenal defender Semi Ajayi, who is training with the Club, played the 90 minutes for Town.
