Cameron and Kundai in squad for Dusseldorf trip as Blues continue warm up for season
Murph, Christophe and Didz only came back to pre-season this week after being given a later return date following their involvement in international action for the Republic of Ireland and Scotland respectively in June.
The trio have been running and swimming but won’t feature in match action until the visit to Cambridge at the earliest next Tuesday.
Cameron, who has been told he can look for first-team opportunities elsewhere by Town boss Mick McCarthy, and teenager Kundai have both been added to the squad after missing the trip to Ireland last week.
The game takes place in the Paul-Janes Stadion, with kick-off at 6.30pm local time.
The players and supporters of both clubs will be attending an after-match party at Stahlwerk to celebrate the game, which has originated from a partnership that has grown between the fans of both clubs over recent years.
More than 200 Fortuna fans were at Portman Road in January to back Blues in the Championship game against Derby while Town supporters have made several trips to Dusseldorf.
The Club website is in Germany with team and will carry a match report and reaction after the game.
