FREDDIE BACK TO FACE FAMILIAR FOES

28 July 2015

Town continue pre-season campaign at Colchester

Freddie Sears and Brett Pitman are included in the squad for tonight’s friendly against Colchester.

The duo missed the goalless draw with Peterborough at the weekend through injury but trained on Monday and are named in an extensive travelling party for Blues.

For Freddie, it will mean a first return to the club he left last January to make the short journey down the A12 to Town.

Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke is among the Town squad, the 29-year-old spending a few days training with Blues. He featured in the draw at Peterborough.

Cole Skuse is the only member of the first-team squad to miss out, the midfielder is nursing an injury.

Kick-off at the Weston Homes Community Stadium is 7.45pm with Town taking a support of around 2000 across the Essex border.
