£250,000 could be awarded to Mick McCarthy to spend on a new signing as Town battle with nine other clubs

Town are in with a shout of winning £250,000 to spend on a new signing, after making it through to the final of Sky Bet’s Transfer Fund competition.

The Blues will go up against nine other clubs for the cash prize, with Sky Sports covering the draw live on Friday July 10th from 12.15pm.

If Town are successful, then Mick McCarthy will have money to spend on a new signing for the Club, whether that be in the form of a transfer fee, loan fee or wages on a player.

Sky Bet are the title sponsor of The Football League and are committed to giving money back into clubs and our game.

The Transfer Fund has engaged with clubs and their fans and one club will walk away with a game changing £250,000.

The draw will be shown live on Sky Sports and presented by Jim White and Natalie Sawyer.

Spencer Todd is the fan who could potentially land Town the £250,000 to spend on a new signing, whilst he could also end up pocketing £5,000 for himself.
