Watch the first-team train, collect autographs plus fun activities in what has become a popular event in Town's calendar

Town will be holding an Open Day again this year with the event to be staged on July 30.

The day, which sees supporters allowed to watch the first-team train on the pitch at Portman Road as well as an opportunity to get autographs, has become one of the most popular dates in the Town calendar over recent years with more than 4000 fans attending last season’s event.

As well as watching manager Mick McCarthy put his team through their paces in the build-up to the new season, fans will also be able to take part in a number of fun activities on the fieldturf.

Food and drink will be available, with the players signing autographs for fans pitchside after training has finished.

More details will follow on the Club website closer to the event, with the gates at Portman Road likely to open at around 10.00am, with the open training session starting half an hour later.
