Town have completed the signing of Brett Pitman from Bournemouth, who signs a three-year deal at Portman Road with the option of a further 12 months.

The striker follows Cherries teammate Ryan Fraser into the Club, who penned a season-long loan deal as part of the transfer which saw Town left-back Tyrone Mings move to the Goldsands Stadium.

Pitman, who has taken in three separate spells with the Cherries, arrives in Suffolk for an undisclosed transfer having helped Eddie Howe’s side lift the Championship title last season.

The 27 year-old has plenty of Championship experience, having spent time with Bristol City where he was a teammate of Town midfielder Cole Skuse.

A real fans’ favourite on the south coast, Pitman scored over 100 goals for the Cherries in over 270 appearances.

A full and exclusive interview with the new recruit will be available on the official Club website in due course.
