Teenager out of Watford game and Jonny Parr a doubt but Luke on way back

Teddy Bishop will miss Saturday’s game against Watford with shin splints and Jonathan Parr is doubtful for the trip.

David McGoldrick is still sidelined with a thigh problem that has seen him out of action since the start of February, Darren Ambrose is also missing with a hamstring injury but there is some good news with Luke Hyam out on the training field today for the first time in nine weeks as he steps up his recovery from a knee injury.

“Teddy won’t be involved on Saturday,” Town boss Mick McCarthy told the Club website.

“He has shin splints from Tuesday’s game against Bolton and we have to be careful with him.

“Jonny Parr is a doubt as well. He took a kick and hasn’t trained today. We are hopeful he will be okay.

“It’s frustrating for Didz at the moment with his injury. It’s not restricting him too much but it’s niggling away at him and he’s not right.

“It’s good to have Luke outside again. He had a smile on his face and was training again rather than being in the gym.”
