Former Manchester United left-back arrives at Portman Road on loan until the end of the season

Town have signed Zeki Fryers on loan from Crystal Palace until the end of the season, subject to paperwork.

The former Manchester United and Tottenham defender moves to Portman Road and could make his debut against Bournemouth on Good Friday, with Tyrone Mings ruled out through suspension.

Zeki has Championship experience after spending time on loan at Rotherham United earlier this campaign, making 10 appearances for the Millers.

The 22 year-old began his career with hometown-club Manchester United but left after his contract ran down and joined Belgium side Standard Liege.

The left-back then quickly joined Tottenham Hotspur following his seven game stay in Belgium and went on to feature a further seven times at White Hart Lane.

Zeki then moved to Crystal Palace in August for an undisclosed fee but has been unable to force his way into the first-team picture and has been allowed to join Town on loan.
