Town strike in line to face England and Scotland

Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick have been named in the Republic of Ireland’s initial squad for the friendly against England and their Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland.

The Irish take on England in a friendly at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on Sunday, June 7 and Scotland six days later.  

Manager Martin O’Neill has named a squad of 33, which will be reduced before the squad meets up at the start of next month.
