Wright and Dozzell to join Town's Academy
Andre Dozzell, son of Town’s youngster ever League goalscorer, Jason Dozzell, is one of the young Blues who will begin life at Playford Road in July.
Jason progressed through the Club’s youth system himself before going on to play in the top flight for both Town and Colchester. He is now a part-time coach at the Academy.
Goalkeeper Harry Wright will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of his dad, Richard, who is also a product of the Club’s youth set-up
Richard made 362 first-team appearances for Blues, then went on to play for Arsenal, Everton, Southampton, West Ham and Sheffield United. He has spent the last couple of years as back-up ‘keeper at Manchester City.
Also included among the dozen new Blues is Daniel Muamba, who is the brother of former Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba.
