Christophe praises the support of the Blue Army at Ewood Park as Town secure Play-Off date with Norwich

Christophe Berra has hailed the support of the Town fans, after the Blues clinched a Play-Off place.

Mick McCarthy’s side were backed by over 2,000 fans at Ewood Park and despite the 3-2 defeat, Town have qualified for the Play-Offs and will face East Anglian rivals Norwich City over two legs.

“It was all about getting to the Play-Offs, getting ourselves over the line and we’ve managed to do it today," Christophe told the official Club website.

“It’s only half the job done but we are there now and the fans were amazing today.

“It’s a long way to travel and they probably left at four or five in the morning and that’s dedication.

“We are all in together and hopefully we can have that superb support again at Portman Road for the first leg.

“I’m sure Portman Road will be rocking and it’s a game we are all looking forward to.”
