An extra 2500 fans per game now watching Town in action at Portman Road

Town’s average Championship gate for 2014/15 is up by almost 15 per cent compared to last year.

A total attendance of 450,855 watched Blues’ 23 League games during the campaign, compared to 393,542 in 2013/14, meaning an average increase of 2500 fans attending each match at Portman Road this term.

Town’s biggest Championship gate of the season was the 26,157 that attended the 3-0 win over Charlton on December 30.

The FA Cup Third Round replay against Southampton in January saw a crowd of 27,933 at Portman Road but the biggest home attendance of the term was the 29,166 who watched the 1-1 draw in the Play-Off semi-final first-leg against Norwich.

Season tickets for 2015/16 are now available to purchase again after being put on hold at the end of the Early Bird deadline in April. Click here for full details.
