Biggest gate for years at Portman Road for the East Anglia biggest derby ever
The last few restricted view tickets were snapped up this afternoon for Saturday’s Play-Off semi-final second-leg against Norwich.
With a gate in excess of 29,000 expected at Portman Road for the 12.15pm kick-off, it will be Town’s biggest gate of the campaign and the biggest since the Capital One cup semi-final win against Arsenal in 2011.
Close on 85 per cent of sales were made online, with 21,000 sold within three days of becoming available.
Fans are reminded not to travel without a ticket. Season cards are not in use for this match with every fan requiring their paper match ticket to gain access.
