Beware of road closures plus travel, ticket and changes to entry to stadium information for Play-Offs
They will be in place from 5am and will remain in place for a short while after the game has ended. The pedestrian access from Cardinal Park to Princes Street known as ‘Sedan Walk’ will also be temporarily closed.
There will be some disruption to public transport as a result of these closures. Buses will be operating via Cardinal Park whilst Princes Street is closed. Members of the public are advised to check updated bus timetables and routes at www.suffolkonboard.com.
A special football train service will be running between Norwich and Ipswich. This service leaves from Norwich at 10.50am and will depart from Ipswich at 2.35pm. Further information is available at www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk.
Turnstiles and stadium bars will be open from 10.45am with kick-off at 12.15pm.
Police Commander for Ipswich, Superintendent Louisa Pepper said: “This is a great local derby event with healthy rivalry between two family friendly clubs and supporters.
“We will be dealing with fans as they would expect to be treated. There will be a strong, visible policing presence and our style will be firm, friendly and fair.
“The police operation has been developed to ensure everyone has a safe day out. Our focus will be on the management of areas where we have seen issues before at other matches as fans travel to and from the stadium.”

Norwich fans who have pre arranged to collect a ticket, can do so from the Ticket Enquiry Centre on Portman Road. This will be open for Norwich fans ONLY.
Entrance to the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand (turnstiles 1-9) will be from the junction of Portman Road/Princes Street. Availability of spaces at the Cattle Market Car Park will be greatly reduced.
Town fans who usually use turnstiles 59- 62 to enter the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand (via the maindrive) are unaffected.
Entrance to upper Cobbold and lower Cobbold (turnstiles 19-25) and Hall of Fame will be via Sir Alf Ramsey Way/Handford Road end of Portman Road.
Cobbold Stand turnstiles 16-17 will be for the use of Norwich fans. Town fans who normally use these turnstiles should use turnstiles 18,19 or 20.
“We are working with Suffolk Police to ensure that the game is a safe and enjoyable day out for fans of both clubs,” said Town safety officer, Mick Warden.
“Ipswich Town fully supports any activity by the police to minimise disruption and unruly behaviour in and outside the ground.”
This game will see a crowd of 29,000 so supporters are strongly advised to arrive at Portman Road early.
Anyone found in possession of a flare or smoke bomb at the stadium could face police action as well as a ban from matches at Portman Road.
