TOWN TRAVEL TO IRELAND

27 May 2015

The Blues again set for Irish pre-season training camp with friendly against Shelbourne lined up at Tolka Park

Town will again travel to Ireland as part of the pre-season programme ahead of the 2015/15 Championship campaign.

Mick McCarthy will again take his side to Carton House in Dublin, for a week’s training, before rounding off the trip with a friendly against Shelbourne at Tolka Park.

The game will take place on July 11th, kick-off at 3pm.

The trip to Ireland has been a constant during Mick’s tenure at Portman Road, with the Blues again facing off against Shelbourne for the third season running.

Last season, Town ran out 4-0 winners thanks to goals from Paul Anderson, Darren McQueen, Tyrone Mings and Jack Marriott.

Dylan Connolly and Adam McDonnell could be part of the travelling party, having signed for Town from Shelbourne last term.

Ticket information will be posted via the Club website and our official social media channels in due course.
