Midfielder named in Development Squad to take on QPR at Loftus Road as he steps up recovery from a knee injury

Luke Hyam could be set for his first taste of action since January this afternoon, after being named in the U21 squad travelling to QPR (kick-off 1pm).

The midfielder has returned from a serious knee injury to join in with training recently and will now step up his recovery with some match action for Mark Kennedy’s Development Squad.

Also named in the travelling party are full-backs Josh Emmanuel and Myles Kenlock, who have both been involved with the first-team this season, as well as striker James Alabi.

Town will be hoping to get back to winning ways at Loftus Road, after slipping to a 3-1 home defeat to Brentford last time out.
