Defender insists heads won't drop within the squad despite defeat to Hull last night as winless run continues

Defender Christophe Berra will not let the defeat at Hull get him or the team down and insists that they are ready to go again against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Town succumbed to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Hull at the KC Stadium, thanks to goals from Alex Bruce, Chupa Akpom and David Meyler, but Christophe believes there will be no hangover and they will be heading to Nottingham looking to get back to winning ways.

“We have another game in three days and we have to bounce back,” he told Ipswich Player HD.

“We have to show the character that this squad has but it’s a difficult place to go, because they’re a team with big ambitions but we’re going there looking to get the points.

“At Hull we switched off in certain areas and we got punished for it so we really need to put a stop to that. The second goal was down to us not doing the basics, in not tracking the runners and we were caught out.

“All credit to the fans that travelled even though we’ve not been doing that well on the road recently; the players really appreciate it and we hope they’ll stick with us.”
