Blackburn better than table suggests says boss as he looks for a change of fortunes at Ewood Park
Blues have not won a League game at Ewood Park since 1991 and have lost on the last four visits to Rovers, three of them with Mick in charge.
The Lancashire club are currently 18th in the Championship, while victory for Town on Saturday could take Blues to third in the table.
“I watched Blackburn batter Fulham in the second-half recently and they are a better side than their position in the table suggests,” the Town boss told Ipswich Player HD.
“We know it will be a difficult game and we have not had much joy up there. It’s about time we put that right.”
The players will be wearing the new away kit at Ewood Park, with Town taking close on 500 fans to the game, with tickets available on the day.
Subscribers to Ipswich Player HD can watch the full interview with Mick tomorrow, as well as an interview with Daryl Murphy, which is available now.
