Midfielder looks for Town to get back to home comforts though

Jonathan Douglas has taken the positives out of the draw with Huddersfield but says Town need to get back to winning games at Portman Road.

Blues kept a clean sheet for the third time this season in the goalless draw with the Terriers with the midfielder full of praise for the team’s defensive qualities.

“I suppose the positive is the clean sheet and it’s a point closer to where we want to be,” Dougie told Ipswich Player HD.

“We got back to closing them down and in the second-half we created a few chances but the main thing we’ll take out of it is the clean sheet, even though we’re still disappointed we didn’t win the game.

“You want to win all your home games and at the moment our home form isn’t as good as it has been so we’ve got to keep working hard.”

Dougie came close to making the breakthrough for Town with a header over and added: “I was able to get forward more which suits me and I had a good chance where I really should have hit the target; I have no excuses there.”
