Midfielder nets for England U17s whilst Yorwerth and Crowe get Wales U21 call ups

Andre Dozzell was on the scoresheet as England U17’s defeated Armenia 5-0 in Portugal.

The Town midfielder, son of former Blue, Jason, netted the opening goal as he curled home a free-kick after 18 minutes, with the Young Lions going on to record a comfortable win.

The victory follows up the opening round 8-0 success over San Marino. Town teammate, ‘keeper Nick Hayes, was an unused substitute against Armenia.

Meanwhile Josh Yorwerth and Michael Crowe have both been called up by Wales U21s.

The Town duo will be with the squad to take on Denmark in Aalborg on October 9th.

Josh has two caps at this level to his name, whilst Michael is yet to feature.

Jonas Knudsen has been cut from the final Denmark squad, after initially being named in the provisional 45 man party.
