Loanee expected to be out for at least two months with knee injury

Town have suffered an injury blow with the news that Ryan Fraser will be sidelined for at least two months with a knee ligament problem.

The wide midfielder, who is on loan from Bournemouth for the season, damaged his medial ligament at the end of last week while away on international duty with Scotland U21s.

“Ryan was training on the Friday when he suffered a non-contact injury,” Town physio Matt Byard told the Club website.

“He had a scan in Aberdeen and that showed a medial ligament problem. We took him to see a specialist in London yesterday and he has confirmed the injury.

“You can never be sure about timings with an injury like Ryan’s but I would expect him to be out for at least two months.”
